Jutta Weldes

Jutta Weldes is a senior lecturer in international relations in the Department of Politics at the University of Bristol. She is the 
author of Constructing National Interests: The United States and the Cuban Missile Crisis (1999), coeditor 
of Cultures of Insecurity: States, Communities, and the Production of Danger (1999), and editor of 
To Seek Out New Worlds: Science Fiction and World Politics (2003).  She has published numerous books chapters and 
articles on U.S. foreign policy and international relations.
