• Joseph P. McCallus for Forgotten under a Tropical Sun: War Stories by American Veterans in the Philippines, 1898–1913. Bronze winner in the U.S. History category.
• Ann Marie Ackermann for Death of an Assassin: The True Story of the German Murderer Who Died Defending Robert E. Lee. Bronze winner in the True Crime category.
• Thomas Rupp for Rockne and Jones: Notre Dame, USC, and the Greatest Rivalry of the Roaring Twenties. Silver winner in the Sports/Fitness/Recreation category.
• Eddie Hart and Dave Newhouse for Disqualified: Eddie Hart, Munich 1972, and the Voices of the Most Tragic Olympics. Bronze winner in the Autobiography/Memoir category.
